Dr. Arul Kandasamy, PhD, MBA
Project Lead, PhIX
Dr. Kandasamy is a pharmacist, researcher, and CQI advocate with extensive experience in patient safety, medication incident analysis, and practice improvement. PhIX was developed under his leadership to translate regulatory requirements into a practical, pharmacist-designed system that works in busy community pharmacy environments.
PhIX is currently used by hundreds of Alberta pharmacies and has been featured by Canadian Healthcare Network for its role in improving medication incident reporting and safety culture.
